However you like to spend your time, Pembrokeshire is sure to satisfy. When you visit the Gwaun Valley you will find that we are close to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Preseli Mountains, and within easy reach of Tenby, Saundersfoot, St. Davids and Cardigan.
Whether you enjoy escaping to the peaceful countryside and beach walk or the activity attractions, Pembrokeshire provides the fantastic scenery for superb outdoor holiday activities.
For those who enjoy fishing there are various rivers and streams within a 3 mile radius. Fishing permits can be obtained. Llys-y-Fran reservoir is very popular for its fishing and sailing. A little further away there is the Cenarth Falls, noted particularly for it salmon, where fishermen use Coracles.
Within easy reach is the smallest city in Britain, St Davids with its cathedral and bishop's palace.
The coastal path is 186 miles long, with beautiful coastal walks where you can either walk the whole lot or sections.
There are also fantastic beaches near by such as Newport beach
Fishguard Tapestry is also nearby as well as the famous Dyffryn Arms where Bessie serves beer from a jug through a hatch in the wall.
